2011 SUPER STOCK
No convertibles, No operational all wheel drives, Jeep, or
Saabs permitted.
Strictly Stock means Stock!!!!!!!!!
All cars must have a key or switch on the left side of dash
to start.
1. Age limits are verified at the first race with a signed
and insurance waiver, which is provided by the track. EVERY
DRIVER IS REQUIRED TO FILL OUT A LEGIBLE AND COMPLETE DRIVERS
FORM, IF THIS IS NOT DONE YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE POINTS UNTIL
IT IS DONE!! ANYONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 IS REQUIRED TO FILL
OUT A MINOR RELEASE FORM.
2. All exterior chrome and hubcaps must be removed. All glass
must be removed. Headlights and taillights must be removed.
All plastic grills must be removed. If bumpers have plastic
ends, they must be removed and have plates that wrap around
to fenders installed. Stock bumpers: if stock bumper is damaged
can be replaced with a steel bumper off another make and model.
Bumpers front and rear should be chained to frame or body.
All cars must have a tow chain on the front and rear bumper.
3. Safety: high back race seats are mandatory. All seats must
be mounted securely, and located in front of doorpost and
to the left of drive shaft tunnel. Safety belts are mandatory
and preferably mounted to roll-cage not floor panel. Race
approved 4 point min. racing belts in good track approved
condition, one release for all belts. Driver side window must
have race approved nylon net in good track approved condition.
Note check general rules for helmet, suit and neck brace rules.
4. Windshield area must have heavy screen. Holes no larger
then 1 inch must be heavier then chicken wire. WINDOW NETS
ARE MANDATORY!!! Nets must be removable.
5. Exhaust can be taken off 48 inches from motor. No after
market headers.
6. Street legal tires only. Tires must be stock passenger
tires only. No truck, studded, recaps, racing or trick gumball
tires of any kind. Tires may be no smaller than two sizes
smaller than original and may be no larger than two sizes
larger than original. No bead lock wheels allowed! BOTH 70
AND 60 SERIES TIRES ARE ALLOWED. No American Racers, Hoosier,
or McCleary tires permitted. Tire grooving is allowed. Wheels
up to 15” diameter and a maximum of 8” wide. Oversized
lug nuts and studs permitted..
7. Sunroofs must be removed & minimum 16 gauge metal welded
or hinged on the outside of roof and latch must be accessible
from inside and outside. If rear seat is removed, the rear
deck (firewall) must be covered with metal. No added weight.
Cars must be stock, no structure modifications to frame or
body. No fender flares allowed. All 4 fender wells must be
in place, in original position & must be stock. No big
rust holes or sharp edges.
8. All cars must have at least 3 working breaks. Quick release
steering wheels are allowed.
9. Bodies must have protective steel guardrail on driver’s
side only. Guardrail must be mounted centered on door (between
bottom of window and bottom of door) and starting 2”
behind front wheel well to 2” in front of rear wheel.
Must have a 4" taper and tapered edges must be plated.
10. Roll cage and bracing: Minimum of 1-1/2"
OD-.095 wall tubing must be used. Roll cage must be fastened
securely to frame with a 6-point design. Uni-body cars are
allowed framed bracing but no cross bracing. Roll cage may
extend from windshield to rear of drivers seat with a loop
at the front and rear. A 1"pipe placed in center of windshield
or 5 minimum 3/8" rebar evenly spaced from drivers door
to center of windshield. Bracing can be done at three places
only. Two bars may be added from top of cage to extend no
further back than the center of the rear axel. 3 safety bars
in drivers door, 2 bars in passenger door.
11. Hood & trunk latches must be removed and replaced
with accessible pins.
12. No enduro cars. No “race” motors.
13. No modifications to suspension. No shock extensions or
Heiman joints on shocks. Struts may NOT be welded.
14. ROOF NUMBER PLATES: must be 12” high x 18”
wide. These numbers must be mounted in an A frame design and
mounted in center of roof. Numbers must be at least 10”
high (black letters, white background). Maximum of two (2)
numbers. One or two digit numbers only. No letters or numbers
in color other than stated in these rules are not allowed,
if so you will not be scored. We ask that a small piece of
metal be placed on left headlamp and left tail lamp with your
number on it.
15. Motor rules: Complete all cast iron engines to include
stock block, stock heads and stock intake. Hydraulic flat
tappet camshaft only. No roller rockers. No cutting, grinding,
porting or acid dipping. No after market headers with exhaust
exiting behind driver. No MSD boxes, stock type ignitions.
No engine set back, engine must be in original location. Solid
motor mounts are permitted. Flat top pistons only.
16. TRANSMISSION AND REAR END: Stock transmission and rear
end., stock clutch and pressure plates for standard shifts.
Stock torque converters for automatics and blow proof bell
housings permitted. Rear ends may be welded or factory limited
slip or possi for your make and model.
17. BATTERIES: If you move battery to inside of car you must
have it in a safe container!
18. If you move fuel tank inside of trunk it must be mounted
with 2 metal straps in a metal box!
19. If carburetor is used it can no bigger than a 650 4 barrel
holly.
20. 4 and 6 cylinder class. The next division race after 3
wins there will be a silent vote. By the division drivers
at the next sign in to determine whether or not that car will
be required to move up to the mini stock class. You will be
notified the decision by the following Wednesday. The race
track, at its discretion may opt. to move you at anytime with
or without a vote or 3 wins. If the car is removed from this
division the points are also removed. If the driver with the
car moves to mini stock their points will move with them.
NOTE: IF THE CAR IS VOTED OUT OF THIS DIVISION AND THE DRIVER
RUNS ANOTHER CAR IN THIS DIVISION HIS POINTS WILL START AT
ZERO AGAIN.
NOTE: ANYTHING NOT COVERED IN THESE SPECIFICATIONS WILL BE
TO THE DISCRETION OF THE TRACK TECHNICAL PERSONNEL WITH OUT
RECOURSE FROM ANY DRIVER OR OWNER. ALL SPECIFICATIONS ARE
SUBJECT TO REVISION.
