Any four cylinder piston type front engine rear wheel drive car. No convertibles, four wheel drives or Jeep type vehicles allowed. Maximum stock wheelbase of 105".
1.) Roll cage and bracing: Minimum of 1-1/2" OD-.095 wall tubing must be used. Roll cage must be welded securely to frame with a four-point design. Uni-body cars are allowed framed bracing but no cross bracing. Roll cage must extend from windshield to rear of drivers compartment with a loop at the front and rear. A 1"pipe placed in center of windshield or 5 minimum 3/8" rebar evenly spaced from drivers door to center of windshield. Bracing can be done at three places only. Two bars may be added from top of cage to rear of car (not to be attached to bumper). You may also run two bars from dash area to front in line with frame rails but must end 6" before front of front bumper. Cross bracing allowed between to front bars. Rub-rails are permitted but they must be placed against body between front and rear wheel, maximum of 3" from outside of rub-rails to door panel, and have no sharp edges. Minimum of 3 safety bars in drivers door, minimum of 2 bars in passenger door.
2.) Bodies: Generic after market nosepieces allowed but must look like factory nose. Cars must be strictly stock. No cutting, chopping shortening allowed, except chopping of interior door panel for roll cage clearance, you may cut a 4 +/- hole in your rear quarter panel between the door post and front of rear wheel well on the interior of the car, but all main bracing and door post must remain intact. Trunk & hood lids may also be stripped. No holes in the hood. Hood must be kept in place by secure quick release pins. Body sheet metal must be in place at start of race. All glass and lights must be removed, all doors must be welded or bolted shut. No after market spoilers of any kind are allowed. Stock metal only. Bumpers should be tied into body panel by steel plates to avoid getting hooked and torn off. No fiberglass bumper allowed. Rear bumper must have a way to be hooked and towed off track easily. Accessible and seen. Their must be a place to securely hook and tow the vehicle in the front either outside or under the hood. All bumpers must be securely fastened to vehicle and welded solid to chassis so that it will not be knocked off the car on impact. NO SHARP EDGES.
3.) Interiors: Rear seat cushions must be removed. Rear seat shelf must be left in as fire stop. The stock steel unaltered floor pan, firewalls, and wheel wells must be retained. Trunk floor may be altered for safe insertion of fuel cell only and no other alterations of trunk area allowed. Aluminum racing seat must be high back. Back of seat must be tied into roll cage. Any built up interiors will have easily opened panels to see all enclosed areas. No mirrors allowed. All non-factory holes must be filled in with metal. Windshield area must have heavy screen. Holes no larger then 1 inch must be heavier then chicken wire. No windshields allowed. No Plexiglas anywhere on body.
4.) Suspension: No modifying of the suspension. Parts must remain absolutely stock for that make and model of car. After market quick steers allowed. Rubber spacers allowed only. No other spacers allowed example lumber, metal, chains etc. may not be used to alter suspension of the car. Changing of right front to heavier spring is allowed, safety chain allowed on right front spring only. No racing suspension or screw adjustable springs or shocks allowed on car anywhere. No cutting or heating any suspension except top of strut tower. Shifting top of strut is aloud as long as it stays within original strut tower. Thunder Pick-ups are aloud front sway bars.
5.) Tires and wheels: All wheels must be reinforced to prevent their loss. Tires must be stock passenger tires only. No truck, studded, recaps, racing or trick gumball tires of any kind, 8" max. Steel wheels racing rims allowed with 60 series tires min. allowed, 8" driving surface width measured from edge of tires tread marks. No aluminum, trick, die cast or bead lock wheels allowed. No American Racers, Hoosier, or McCleary tires permitted. Tire grooving is allowed
6.) Engine: The engine must be strictly stock for that make and model and in its original mount, no motor mix match. Solid motor mount allowed in it's original mount position. Stock carburetor only. No cutting of carburetor except choke assembly may be removed. Maximum .040 overbore. Must be flat top type piston with stock profile & stock wrist pin height. Headers are allowed and must mic. Between 1.46min to 1.53max @ 1 away from head. Exhaust may be rerouted out the passenger door but must be max 2dia. 480 cam lift maximum. No roller cams, shaving head, turbo, porting, polishing M.S.D. boxes, super coils or engine changing allowed. Water overflow must be rerouted to the trunk compartment and into a leak proof container large enough not to overflow onto track surface
7.) Drive train: Stock rear end, transmission, clutch and fly wheel only. Stock drive train only. Stock rear housing for make & model of car. Rear may have spider gears welded. No spools of any kind allowed. Stock flywheel weight limit of 20 lb. minimum in manual transmission cars. Stock drive shaft will be painted a bright color, example: (white, yellow) with safety loops mounted in front of driveline. Loop fastening, type and thickness will be up to the discretion of safety tech personal.
8.) Fuel cell (gas tank): Max. 15 gal fuel cell. Fuel cells in trunk area will allow boat tanks 2yrs. old or newer required, all fuel cells & tanks must have blatteres. Inside car must be enclosed with metal. Pump gas only, 94 octane maximum- no racing fuel, alcohol or any additives allowed. Fuel testing may be done at the desecration of the track technical director. If fuel is found to be illegal you will forfeit all money & points for that week &fined $25.00. Any electric fuel pump will have a safety switch and safety oil switch. Anyone running an alternator must have a kill switch for alternator. All switches must be clearly marked and in dash, reachable from driver seat.
9.) AIR CLEANERS: Any air cleaner system is allowed as long as not air induction system must be kept within engine compartment. No air induction including aux. pumps, fans or ice packs.
10.) Brakes: 3 wheel brakes must be in good working order at all times. Stock unaltered brake system in stock mounting position must be used for make and model of car being used. No after market in line proportioning valves allowed. There will be no tampering with brake rotors. Must be stock.
11.) Safety: Aluminum race seats are mandatory. All seats must be mounted to roll cage, and located in front of doorpost and to the left of drive shaft tunnel. Safety belts and neck braces are mandatory and preferably mounted to roll-cage not floor panel. Race approved 4 point min. racing belts in good track approved condition, one release for all belts. Driver side window must have a race approved nylon net in good track approved condition. 12 ounce A.B.C. fire extinguisher mandatory, easily accessible & usable by driver. NOTE: Check general rules for helmet, suite and neck brace.
12.) Miscellaneous: Battery must be moved inside of car in a steel frame & covered and securely fastened. Car number and letters must be 18 high on both sides of the car and on roof is mandatory. Numbers and letters are to be approved by scorekeepers!!!! No 2-way radios.
13.)TECHNICAL FEES: Carburetor or fuel test= $25.00, $20.00 for tech $5.00 for tech man.
Clutch or Valve cover= $50.00, $35.00 for tech $15.00 for tech man
Motor Pumped= $50.00, $35.00 for tech $15.00 for tech man
Complete head= $125.00, $100.00 for tech $25.00 for tech man
Intake or exhaust manifold= $50.00, $35.00 for tech $15.00 for tech man
Total tear down= $350.00, $300.00 for tech $50.00 for tech man

AND IN CONSECUTIVE ORDER STARTING WITH FEATURE WINNER. 1 ST OFFENSE: IF FOUND ILLEGAL A FINE OF THE INITIAL TECH FEE NOT TO EXCEED $100.00 MUST BE PAID TO TRACK BEFORE OFFENDER MAY RE-ENTER PIT AREA AND LOSS OF ANY PAY OFF FOR THAT EVENT (THIS IS FOR BOTH TRACK TECH & PROTEST TECH). 2 ND OFFENSE LOSS OF TOTAL YEAR ACCUMULATED POINTS AND BARD FROM THAT CLASS FOR THAT YEAR!!!! FINES & SUSPENSIONS INCLUDE CAR, DRIVER & CAR OWNER.
